Sony VAIO Y notebook Features, Specification, Price details



Sony recently introduced its first portable computer features Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage class (CULV), named Sony VAIO Y.The new Sony VAIO Y notebook comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.

The all new Sony VAIO Y notebook comes equipped with a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and is powered with a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 dual-core processor.The new VAIO Y notebook includes an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD for graphics options.

The Sony VAIO Y notebook could support with up to 4GB of RAM, up to 500GB hard drive and housed with Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a web camera with Motion Eye, card reader, and HDMI port.With standard battery the new Sony VAIO Y notebook provides up to eight hours battery life, seven hours battery life with maximum brightness display and can be further improved to 12 hours with extended battery.

New Sony VAIO Y notebook weighs about 1.8kg and its Dimensions are 320×223x23-30 mm.Sony VAIO Y notebook comes with a price tag of  $800.
