Motorola FlipOut handset Features and Specifications



Motorola has officially introduced Motorola FlipOut. This handset is running on Google Android 2.1 OS. Motorola FlipOut Smartphone is made in rotator form factor. The rounded-off square design hides a five row QWERTY keyboard that rotates out from underneath. It has a 2.8-inch display with 320×240 pixel resolution.
The Motorola FlipOut phone is powered with 700 MHz processor, 512MB flash memory, Bluetooth, and GPS. In addition, new smartphone packs a digital compass, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), FM radio, USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the back there is a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera.

This is a 3.5G device with a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps and upload speed of up to 2 Mbps. The Motorola FLIPOUT also supports WiFi. It is designed for use in WCDMA 900/2100 MHz and GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network. The Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR has a 1170 mAh battery that provides up to 6 hours of talk time and 365 hours of standby. Size of Motorola FlipOut is 67×67x17 mm and weight approximately 120g.
There are quite a wide variety of colours available which Motorola list as Saffron, Black Licorice, Poppy Red, Fairway Green, Rebel Pink, Raspberry Crush, Dark Sapphire, and Brilliant Blue. Motorola FlipOut Smartphone will become available later this month but there is no word on pricing and we are hopping it to cost around €300 to €350 when it hits the shops.
