The Vodafone 150 and the Vodafone 250







Vodafone has announced World's Cheapest Mobile Phones mainly aims sizeable and isolated rural populations in developing countries including India, Turkey and eight African countries including Lesotho, Kenya and Ghana.Accroding to experts vodafone will have to play with exchange rates in certain countries.


Both offers expected voice and SMS services







Vodafone 150 supports

  • polyphonic ringtones
  • alarm clock
  • calculator
  • currency converter
  • 2 embedded games
  • a miniUSB connector
  • 500mAh battery which offers standby time up to 400hrs and talk time up to 5hrs



If Nokia announced that it was planning a $10 (Rs. 500) handset a few weeks ago,
The Vodafone 150 will retail at below $15 (Rs. 700) and the Vodafone 250 will retail
at below $20 (Rs. 900), depending on the local market.
