LG and AT&T introduced LG eXpo First 1GHz Smartphone in US


LG Electronics and AT&T U.S.A mobile operator introduced the First 1GHz Smartphone in the United States named LG eXpo.The new LG eXpo comes with exciting features and has a side slider form factor.The Smartphone comes with “Smart Sensor” fingerprint recognition.

LG eXpo comes equipped with 3.2-inch external touchscreen display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels (WVGA) and 16M colors.Other features includes sliding QWERTY keyboard,a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash,extendable memory up to 16GB via microSD card, GPS receiver, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR.
The LG eXpo is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.The handset supports networks includes GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA.The new Smartphone from LG and AT&T runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS and is compatible with AT&T’s High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) 7.2 Mbps technology.

The LG eXpo will be available in the US market from December 7 onwards and the LG eXpo Smartphone comes with a price tag of $199.99
