The Chevrolet Sail comes in two trims(in global market) for the pertol engine and one trim for diesel engine. The two trims of petrol engine are 1.2 litre S-TEC II(available in India) and a 1.4 Litre of S-TEC II. the diesel engine is 1.3 litre of multi jet. Both have five speed manual transmission gear box.

The 1.2 litre S-TEC II MPFI 1199cc 4 Cylinder 16 Valve petrol engine delivers a Max Power of 85BHp @ 6000rpm and a Max Torque of 113Nm. It provides a mileage of 15 Kmpl in city and 18.2 Kmpl in Highway.

The Maruti Alto 800 comes in Petrol and CNG options with three varients each. It will be available in India from 16 October 2012 for a price tag of 2 - 2.5 Lakhs for the petrol version and above 3 - 3.25 Lakhs for the CNG version.



The 0.8 litre 796cc three cylinder petrol engine delivers 45.7 bhp of power @6000rpm and 69 Nm of torque @3500rpm. It has five speed manual transmission Gear Box. Mileage rating of 17kmpl on the city and up to 22kmpl on highways. It has 35 litre petrol Tank. It reach 0 to 100 kmph in 15 to 16 seconds.

The CNG variant delivers peak power of 40bhp @6200rpm and maximum torque of 56Nm @3000rpm. Mileage rating of up to 20 km per kg on city and up to 30km per kg on highways. It takes 17 to 18 seconds to reach the 100kmph speed.

Honda Brio Automatic launches in October 18 2012

Honda is going to launch Brio Automatic transmission version in India on October 18. It will cost between Rs 50,000 and Rs 70,000 more.  It is powered by 1.2 liter iVTEC engine with 88PS @ 6000rpm and 109Nm of max torque @ 4500rpm. It has a fuel effeciency of 16.5 kmpl.

The gearbox shifts only between 1st and 2nd gear, 2 - stays in 2nd gear only and 1 - gearbox doesn't shift beyond 1st gear.

Mahindra Quanto Compact SUV is ready to launch

Mahindra Quanto is a compact seven-seater SUV which is expected to launch today September 20 2012. It is also equipped with ABS and airbags for security.

The Quanto is powered by 1.5-litre 1399cc three cylinder M2Di Diesel engine with peak power of 100 bhp and maximum torque of 240 Nm. It is sub-four metre car which delivers a mileage of 17kmpl.

The Mahindra Quanto comes with a base price tag starting from Rs 4.75 lakhs.

Volvo V40 R Unveils its Design

The Volvo V40 R comes in Petrol engine and Diesel engine versions. The Petrol engine delivers a Max Power of 254PS and the Diesel engine delivers a Max Power of 115PS.

Exterior features includes blue R-design logo, silk-metal finish, twin exhaust tailpipes.

Interior features includes black headliner, aluminium dash inlays and a gauge cluster with blue background. Comfort features includes embossed seats, firmer suspension with stiffened shock absorbers, sways and springs.

Renault Scala Features and Specs

Renault Scala has has 5-speed manual Transmission gear box and it comes in two variants - petrol and diesel with two trims each- RXE and RXL for petrol, RXL and RXZ for diesel. An automatic version petrol CVT Scala will be launched later this year.

2013 Nissan Evalia MPV Features and Specs
