It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2 GB RAM.

Nexus 4 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with (8/16)GB of non-expandable storage.

LG Nexus 4 sports 8MP rear camera and has 1.3MP front-facing web camera. Connectivity options includes HSPA+ and NFC.

It comes with standard 2100mAh wireless chargable battery which claims a back up of upto 15Hrs Talktime and upto 300Hrs Standby.

The LG Nexus 4 smartphone comes with a price tag of $299 USD for 8 GB version, 16 GB version for $349 USD and will be available from November 13 2012.

LG launches Optimus Vu Phablet in India

LG Optimus Vu Phablet features 5-inch TRUE-XGA IPS display with 1024 X 768 pixel resolutions  and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.

Optimus Vu sports 8MP CMOS Auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front-facing web camera. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and comes with 32GB of storage.

Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, DLNA, NFC and A-GPS. It comes with standard 2080mAh battery which claims a back up of upto 15Hrs Talktime in 3G.

The Optimus Vu Phablet has a price tag of Rs. 34,500 INR and is currently available in India.

LG 2D to 3D smartphone game conversion App's

The game conversion engine allows previously purchased 2D games to be played in 3D. It will be included in the first update of the LG Optimus 3D smartphone this October.LG plans to make available for playing in 3D, approximately 50 2D games with 50 more to be added by year’s end.

Its working is like :- LG’s 3D Game Converter automatically recognizes the depth information based on the location of each object and separates the 2D graphic images for each eye … Using the existing depth information, the 3D Game Converter generates two different images — one for the foreground and one for the background. It then uses a thin film called Parallax Barrier on the display to show the left image to the left eye and the right image to the right eye, creating an illusion of visual depth.

LG Aurora Xnote S430 notebook and LG Aurora Xnote S530 notebook Launched

LG has launched two new laptops, the Aurora Xnote S430 (14-inch) and S530 (15.6-inch) and are packed with LED LCD displays with 1366×768pixel resolution. Both of them are designed for style conscious buyers.


Both have Aurora Purple or Aurora Blue color options with LG’s exclusive Crystalline Finish lids, which uses Non-Conductive Vapor Metallization technology. The glossy exterior also provides improved scratch resistance and a strengthened cover.


You can choose from the following options, S530 has an optional HD+(1600×900) display, processor options-Sandy Bridge Corei3/ i5, graphics options includes – AMD Radeon HD6470M with 1GB DDR3 or Intel HD Graphics or Intel HD Graphics 3000, OS-Windows 7 series, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, maximum of 750GB storage space.

Common options includes Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 7-in-1 card reader, DVD super multi, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA, HDMI, DVD writer and 6-cell Li-Ion 2200mAh battery. There’s also an HD web cam, SRS Audio.


The LG S430 and the LG S530 currently available in Korea and will become available in the Middle East, Africa and Asia early September followed by Europe, the Americas and CIS later. Currently there is no news about price but it will be touching $1,000.

LG LSM-100 mouse with scanner capability

The recent IFA 2011 in Berlin, Germany had seen an innovation from LG, a mouse with scanning option. LG LSM-100 mouse features an ergonomic, comfortable design, with an accurate laser sensor which does the traditional job well.


Scanning is simple, just Hold the Smart Scan button on the left side and swipes it over the document. Now save it as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS and DOC, or dragged and dropped into the desired application. Finished as simple as it is.


The LG LSM-100 is capable to scan page sizes up to A3 and it comes with LG’s Optical Character Recognition technology which convert scanned text into a Word document which can be edited.

The LG A530 3D apart from 3D viewing, it is capable of capturing 3D videos and photos with its dual web cameras. The A530 has brushed aluminum finish in Ebony Black with a pebble keyboard and wider touch-pad with rounded edges.
The LG A530 sports a 15-inch 3D LCD display having Full HD (1920×1080) resolution with Film Patterned Retarder(FPR) technology, which requires passive 3D glasses. It comes with 3D Space Software, integrated UI for easy access to 3D video, photos, games and movies.


The A530 3D hardware has the choice of 2nd Gen Core i3, i5, or i7 processors and has NVIDIA GeForce GT 555 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, maximum of 750GB hard drive paired with a 4GB solid state drive for faster boot up, either an HD webcam or dual cameras for capturing 3D video, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 or 3.0, a 7-in-1 card reader, a fingerprint reader,USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, a HDMI output, DVD or Blu-ray combo drive, and a 6-cell battery. LG Enlighten for Verizon on August 25

LG Enlighten features a 3.2-inch HVGA LCD touchscreen display powered by 800MHz processor runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Enlighten sports 3.2-megapixel rear camera. It has an in-built storage of 150MB, 2GB microSD card is bundled in the package. It has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard also.

Enlighten will be available in US on August 25th with Verizon. Currently no information about price.The Enlighten will be available on a number of carriers US Cellular, Cellular South, and Verizon sooner.

LG Optimus Pad Features, Specifications and Review

The LG Optimus Pad is an 8.9-inch LCD capacitive 1280 x 768 WXGA touchscreen display powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz processor with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 3.0.1 honeycomb OS. It has a dual 5-megapixel camera capable of 1080p 2D as well as 720p 3D video recording and also 2MP front-facing camera.


Other features of LG Optimus Pad includes HSDPA, GPRS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionalit,DLNA microUSB port, dock connector, HDMI out, USB sockets, 3.5mm jack, A-GPS support, digital compass Accelerometer and proximity sensor, Gyroscope sensor Document viewing and editing. It has a storage of 32GB.It has a dimension of 243 x 149 x 12.5mm and weighs just 630gms.


The LG Optimus Pad retails for RM2,199 ($750)outright. Celcom is offering it for as low as RM1,668($570) with data plan contract.

LG Optimus 3D review, features and specifications

The first smartphone with glasses-free 3D display had officially announced, that means there will not be any more delays for the launch. This phone will be out in UK on july 11. Most probably the optimus 3D will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread Os instead of the 2.2 Froyo, which was mentioned earlier.

LG Optimus 3D features a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D WVGA display, dual rear-facing cameras capable of 3D still image/video capture (3D video in 720p, 2D video in 1080p). It has a tri-dual” processor that is, dual-core processor with dual-channel RAM and a dual-channel board configuration. The display delivers 1080p output in 2D and up to 720p in 3D.The phone is DLNA certified, and an HDMI port is also present. It provides a a 3D augmented reality browser, developed in collaboration with Wikitude. The phone comes with 8GB of storage and can be made 32GB using microSD card.


The Optimus 3D will be available in Europe first, and then in more than 60 markets around the world over the next several weeks. Available in India from September for Rs. 37,000. Available in Dubai at Sharaf DG stores from August end at AUD3000.

LG revealed LG V300 the all-in-one touchscreen PC

The current Computex technology exhibition Computex 2011 in Taipei shows off an all-in-one touchscreen PC Called LG V300 developed in partnership with Intel. it features a 23-inch full HD LED LCD display comes with two sets of light weight polarised glasses for the 3D experience. The display features 3D Film-type Patterned Retarder(FPR) technology and has In Plane Switch (IPS) screen technology that creates a 178-degree viewing angle.The touchscreen PC is 44.65mm thick.


The LG V300 touchscreen PC will be powered by second-generation Intel Core processors, 8GB of RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6650M graphics,Intel HD 3000 graphics, a Blu-ray optical drive, 750GB HDD, either SRS Sound Solutions high definition audio or SRS Wide 3D sound, a 720p HD webcam with stereo microphones. Hi-Speed and SuperSpeed USB's, along with HDMI 1.4, a choice of Bluetooth 3.0 or 2.1 with EDR. The pc is also DNLA-compliant. connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and choice of either DVD drive or a Blu-ray drive.



With a form-factor of 22.11 x 13.62 x 1.75-inch (561.75 x 346.2 x 44.65 mm) LG V300 All-in-One desktop PC uses three individual camera sensors for an accurate and lag-free multi-touch experience, and is powered by a single cable.The V300 will run on either Windows 7 Home Basic or Home Premium (both 64-bit) and will come with two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, a 5-in-1 media card reader and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

The LG V300 is set for a July release in Korea and will release in Europe, the Middle East and Asia later. Currently there is no news about the price.
