LG launches Optimus Vu Phablet in India

LG Optimus Vu Phablet features 5-inch TRUE-XGA IPS display with 1024 X 768 pixel resolutions  and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.

Optimus Vu sports 8MP CMOS Auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front-facing web camera. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and comes with 32GB of storage.

Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, DLNA, NFC and A-GPS. It comes with standard 2080mAh battery which claims a back up of upto 15Hrs Talktime in 3G.

The Optimus Vu Phablet has a price tag of Rs. 34,500 INR and is currently available in India.

LG Enlighten for Verizon on August 25

LG Enlighten features a 3.2-inch HVGA LCD touchscreen display powered by 800MHz processor runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Enlighten sports 3.2-megapixel rear camera. It has an in-built storage of 150MB, 2GB microSD card is bundled in the package. It has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard also.

LG Optimus 3D review, features and specifications

The first smartphone with glasses-free 3D display had officially announced, that means there will not be any more delays for the launch. This phone will be out in UK on july 11. Most probably the optimus 3D will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread Os instead of the 2.2 Froyo, which was mentioned earlier.

LG Optimus 3D features a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D WVGA display, dual rear-facing cameras capable of 3D still image/video capture (3D video in 720p, 2D video in 1080p). It has a tri-dual” processor that is, dual-core processor with dual-channel RAM and a dual-channel board configuration. The display delivers 1080p output in 2D and up to 720p in 3D.The phone is DLNA certified, and an HDMI port is also present. It provides a a 3D augmented reality browser, developed in collaboration with Wikitude. The phone comes with 8GB of storage and can be made 32GB using microSD card.


The Optimus 3D will be available in Europe first, and then in more than 60 markets around the world over the next several weeks. Available in India from September for Rs. 37,000. Available in Dubai at Sharaf DG stores from August end at AUD3000.

LG GW990 Review

The LG GW990 features a large TFT touch screen with 1024 x 480 pixels, which measures 4.8 inches. The screen resolution is 480 x 1024 pixels. The screen features S-Class user interface (a multi-window UI) and accelerometer sensor for automatic screen mode rotate. The LG GW990 is based on the Intel’s Moorestown platform. LG GU285 and GU220 Handset in India Price, Features

LG Electronics recently introduced new LG GU285 and LG GU220 mobile handsets in Indian market.Both the new LG GU285 and LG GU220 handsets comes in slider form factor.

Both LG GU285 and LG GU220 mobile phones comes equipped with a 2.2-inch display and is integrated with various internet services.Other features of both LG GU285 and LG GU220 mobile phones includes Bluetooth, music player and a microSD card slot for expanding memory.

The new LG GU285 mobile also equips a camera at front for video calls and has supports for 3G network.Its also housed a 1.3-megapixel camera and is provided with dedicated keys for running applications.The new LG GU285 mobile comes available with a price tag of Rs.6500 (about $145).

In-addition to the above features the new LG GU220 mobile phone packs a  0.3MP camera.The handset supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks.The all new LG GU220 mobile phone comes with a price tag of Rs.4500 (about $100).

LG Viewty GT/GT405 Handset Launched Price, Features

LG recently made available its all new LG Viewty GT, formerly named as LG Viewty GT405 in UK.The new  LG Viewty GT comes available via 3 UK mobile operators.

 

The new LG Viewty GT Phone comes packed with a  3-inch resistive touchscreen display with a resolution of 240×400 pixels (WQVGA) and includes a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with flash.The LG Viewty GT handset also brings Windows Live Messenger, Skype, eBay and Facebook, as well as Google Maps.

LG Viewty GT Handset is designed to work in GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks.Other features of LG Viewty GT Handset includes  60 MB internal memory, a microSD card slot supports up to 8 GB card, Bluetooth, and music player.

The LG Viewty GT (GT405) handset now available with a price tag of  £119.99 without contract, or with cost of £15 per month which includes an 18-month contract agreement.
