MSI is using the second-generation Atom N450 processor, which was designed to provide up to 20 percent greater power efficiency than Intel’s last chip. The chiclet keyboard on the unit is very nice and responsive. Packed with the Intel Pine Trail platform this netbook promises increased battery life.
The MSI Wind U135 is sporting a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM,a new GMA 3150 GPU, 250GB HDD, running Windows 7 Starter, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.
The MSI U135 is available in two models, the first with a 160GB hard drive, and the second with a larger 250GB version. The cheaper version($ 309) features a 3-cell battery, while the 250GB version has a 6-cell battery for 7.5 hoursWind U135 will be available in a number of color options; Black, Silver, Ruby and Sapphire. This is available globally now with a price tag of $329.
