ASUS PQ321 True 4K UHD Monitor Features and Specs

ASUS announced world’s first 4K gaming monitorn, ASUS PQ321 True 4K UHD. The monitor targets creative and professional users as well as High end PC gamers. This UHD Gaming Monitor will be displayed in the Computex 2013 this week. Let's get to know more about it.

The PQ321 True 4K UHD features 31.5-inch LED-backlit 4K Ultra HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio of 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution having 140 ppi. The display supports 10-bit RGB ‘deep color’ for vibrant images with more natural transitions between hues. The monitor equips IGZO(indium gallium zinc oxide) panel technology which reduces power consumption.

Other features of ASUS PQ321 True 4K UHD includes 176-degree viewing angles, 8ms response time, support 60 Hz refresh rate(higher compared with others), measures 35mm max. thickness.

Expnasion options includes a display port, 2x HDMI(only in US), RS-232C, a 3.5mm audio in and out, 2W stereo speakers. The dual-HDMI port inputs offer Picture-by-Picture support and in addition to being wall-mountable, the monitor stand offers full height, swivel, and tilt adjustment.

The PQ321 also belongs to the famous ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) line.

The ASUS PQ321 True 4K UHD Gaming Monitor hits the market at the end of June 2013 and will have an expected price tag of around $5000 USD.

Acer V193Bwmd 19-inch Low-Powered LCD Display Price and Features

Acer recently announced the introduction of their all new low power consumption LCD Display, named Acer V193Bwmd. The all new Acer V193Bwmd LCD Low-Power Consumption display will be available for sales by the middle of May with a price tag of 20,000 yen(about $212).

Acer V193Bwmd LCD monitor packs a  19-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1280×1024 pixel (SXGA) with support for 16.7 million colors.The new 19-inch LCD monitor from Acer has a 36% power consumption reduction rate when compared to other dispalys of same size.Other features of Acer V193Bwmd LCD display includes  250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 800:1 contrast ratio (10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio), and 160 degrees vertical viewing angle.

The new Acer V193Bwmd LCD monitor also comes housed with DVI-D (HDCP supported), D-Sub, 2×1W speakers.The Low-Powered LCD Display from Acer weighs 4kg and its dimensions are 408×181x406 mm (WxDxH).

Acer recently made available their all new Full HD Ready LCD displays, named Acer AT2056 and Acer AT2356.Both the new HD Displays are comes provided with a “recall” button that helps to back to what you have been watching.Other features comes up with the Acer AT2056 and AT2356 displays are close/far mode and automatically adjust picture settings that provides better watching.

Acer on its way to present its new Acer GD245HQ monitor with built-in 3D technology at the CES 2010 next month.The new 3D LCD monitor from Acer is equipped with 23.6 -inch screen with Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixel).

The new Acer GD245HQ 3D LCD monitor features TN panel, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2ms response time, an 80000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 300 cd/m2 brightness.The 3D LCD Monitor have connection ports for D-Sub, DVI and HDMI.Acer GD245HQ 3D LCD monitor comes with a price tag of £300.

Acer Launches special edition Olympics notebooks and LCD

Acer recently unveils special edition Olympics notebooks and LCD.The new special edition Olympics notebooks and LCD comes with special Acer Olympic logo on the lid and the palm rest area.The new special edition Olympics notebooks and LCD includes Aspire 1810T, 4810T, 1410 and the G245H LCD.The specification and features of the Olympics special edition notebooks and LCD were similar to that of the standard machines of the same model.

Acer has also announced that it will be providing 6,500 pieces of computing equipment to the Olympic games along with 100 engineers and technicians to support the management of the hardware for the Olympic games.
