The Maingear Nomad 17 Custom is powered by 3.8 GHz Intel Core i7-3840QM Ivy Bridge processor. It comes with THX TruStudio Pro sound system.

SSD Storage is provided with option for RAID 0 or RAID 1 technology. Optionl features includes up to 32 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, either GeForce GTX 675M or GeForce GTX 680M graphics cards.


Connectivity options includes 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, DVI-I, two USB 2.0 ports, three USB 3.0 ports as well as IEEE-1394 FireWire, S/PDIF, one RJ-45 LAN port and one RJ-11 port.

The Nomad 17 Custom comes with a base price tag of $1599 USD.
