Toshiba recently announced the launch of its new multimedia notebook, named Toshiba Satellite A660. The new Toshiba Satellite A660 notebook features Intel’s Wireless Display technology (or WiDi) that helps in transfering an image from laptops to HDTV via wireless connection.For the process special TV adapter is required.other features of the Toshiba Satellite Multimedia Notebook is Toshiba’s Resolution+ upscaling technology that aids in improving picture quality.
Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia Notebook packs a 16-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels and is powered with either Intel’s Core i3, i5 or i7 processor.The new Multimedia Notebook also houses GeForce GT 330M GPU with 1GB of memory.The Toshiba Satellite A660 also supports up to 8GB RAM, and up to 640 GB hard drive.
The new Toshiba Satellite A660 Multimedia Notebook cimes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.Other features of the notebook includes Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DVD/Blu-ray drive, card reader, 1.3-megapixel camera, HDMI port, and three USB ports. Multimedia Notebook from Toshiba weighs 2.9 kg and its dimensions are 379×254x28-35 mm.
