BlackBerry Playbook features, price and availability

The BlackBerry PlayBook, accroding to BlackBerry it is the World’s first Professional grade tablet.It sport's a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive display tablet powered by a 1GHz dual core Texas Instruments OMAP4430 processor and runs on latest BlackBerry OS with symmetric multiprocessing on QNX technology.

The new BlackBerry Playbook features multi-tasking, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, 1GB RAM, WiFi module and optional high speed 3G connectivity, Dual Camera - front 3MP and rear 5MP, Micro USB, Micro HDMI, 3.5mm headset port, Full HD video support. The storage will be in the range from 16GB-64GB. It weighs almost 425gms. It also has Accelerometer, GPS, digital compass, 6-axis gyroscope.

The pre-booking has started and the early-birds will get HDMI Cable and premium Leather Case as free gifts. The BlackBerry PlayBook is going to available almost all over the world including Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore by the end of june 2011 priced at $699. The pricing in India could range between Rs 22,000 and Rs 32,000, depending upon its storage capacity, from 16 GB to 64 GB.
