Dell launches Studio XPS 7100 powered by AMD six-core processor

Dell today unveiled Studio XPS 7100 desktop which it said is designed for busy multi-taskers who demand their technology keeps pace with their up- tempo lives.

As per Dell Marketing Manager The Studio XPS 7100 desktop with AMD Vision technology are feature-packed, yet budget-friendly. They're perfect for listening to music, streaming video and gaming, while connecting with friends and family via social networking sites and blogs.

The desktop PC, is strengthened by Advanced Micro Devices' new six-core processor and it delivers a seamless intersection of social networking, entertainment and multimedia creation, the company said in a statement.

Dell has apparently started shipping the Studio XPS 7100, a high end desktop based on AMD's 1035T six-core. Besides the 1035T, the XPS 7100 computer may be customized to use a number of quad-core and six-core models from Athlon II X4 630 to Phenom II X6 1055T.

Motherboard in this computer utilizes AMD RS785 chipset with SB710 South Bridge. The system comes with integrated ATI Radeon HD4200 graphics, but it's also possible to improve system performance by adding one of a few different Radeon HD 5xxx 1GB video cards.

The starting price of the Dell Studio XPS 7100 is $499 for Athlon II X4 630 processor and without extra video card, and $699 for Phenom II X6 1035T CPU with ATI HD5450 1 GB video card. The 2.6GHz Phenom II X6 1035T was not supposed to appear until the third quarter.

Dell Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop includes Core i5 and P55 chipset

Dell recently introduced their new updated gaming desktop PC, named Alienware Aurora.The new updates includes the introduction of Intel Core i5/i7 processor and an Intel P55 Express chipset.The new Dell Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit).

The all new Dell Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop basic configuration includes 2.66GHz Intel Core i5-750 processor, an Intel X58 Express chipset and houses Radeon HD 5770 GPU with 1GB of VRAM graphics card.Other features of the new Aurora Gaming Desktop includes 4GB of memory, a 750GB hard drive, a DVD burner, two PCI Express x16, two PCI Express x1, eight USB 2.0 port, two IEEE 1394, eSATA, two DVI ports, HDMI, and audio input/output.

Dell Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop weighs 20.4kg and its dimensions are 250×645x426 mm (WxDxH).The new  Dell Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop is now available in Japanese market with a price tag of  129,990 yen.

Dell Froot desktop with no keyboard, no monitor details

Famous industrial designer,Paulina Carlos recently introduced the future computer concept, named Dell Froot.The Dell Froot desktop is totally different from conventional desktops in both shape and size.The Dell Froot desktop doesnt have a system unit,a keyboard or even a monitor.

The new Dell Froot desktop uses a laser keyboard and for display it uses screen projection technology.
Actually Dell Froot desktop is a small device that includes two built-in projectors, one for display and other for creating a virtual keyboard.The keyboard is projected on to the table and the display screen is actually the wall to which the system faces. 

Dell Froot looks similar to a small panel with a convex rounded central part.The DVD drive is a slot-loading optical drive placed at right side along with ports.Dell Froot is expected to be offered in bright colors.

Dell recently introduced four new compact desktop PC comes under OptiPlex series, named Dell OptiPlex 780 USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor), Dell OptiPlex 380 DT (DeskTop), Dell OptiPlex 380 MT (Mini Tower), and Dell OptiPlex 380 SFF (Small Form Factor).The all four desktop PC's are mainly designed for business purposes.
