Intel X79 motherboard Features


The DX79SI Extreme Series Motherboard is targeted at extreme gamers. The features includes, support for both AMD Crossfire and Nvidia SLI via three PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, has two Firewire and 14 USB 2.0 ports, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s and four SATA 3.0 Gb/s connectors and includes eight DIMM slots. USB 3.0 is supported in two available ports through a separate NEC controller. Also, there are two PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots and one PCI interface.

Intel X-25M and X25-V SSDs For Sale now Price Details

Intel recently started the sale of their new Intel X25-M and X25-V SSDs in market.Both new Intel X25-M and X25-V SSDs are now available through Best Buy.Best Buy offered new X25-V and X25-M SSDs with aprice tag that ranges between $129.99 to $229.99 through its 800 stores around the country.

The new Intel X25-M SSD comes with an 80GB capacity priced at $229.99 where as the Intel X25-V SSD comes in a 40GB capacity priced at $129.99.

Intel New Rugged Convertable Classmate PC 4G netbook Features and Specifications

Intel recently announced the introduction of their all new rugged convertible netbook,named Intel CTL 2go Convertible Classmate PC NL2.The all new convertable Classmate PC can be easily converted to a tablet and has rugged features including bump and scratch resistance surfaces and structures, water-resistant keyboard, touchpad and screen, and an optional anti-microbial keyboard.

The new Rugged Convertable Classmate PC from Intel is designed mainly for educational institutions.The netbook comes bundled with eReading applications and is based on Intel Pine Trail platform.


The new Intel CTL 2go Convertible Classmate PC NL2 netbook equips a a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels and is powered with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor.The new Classmate PC also houses an integrated graphics and Intel NM10 Express chipset.

Other features comes housed with the new Intel CTL 2go Convertible Classmate PC NL2 netbook includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM, 160 GB hard drive, Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, VGA out for connection external display, 1.3-megapixel webcam, and 3-in-1 Card Reader.The optional availabilities includes 3G, GPS, WiMAX, 16GB/32GB SSD.The netbook battery provides about 6 hours of back-up life.

Intel X25-V Low Priced SSD For Sale

Intel recently started the sale of their all new budget-friendly solid state drives, named  Intel X25-V.The new Intel X25-V Low Priced SSD is based on multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory technology and uses a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface.The new SSD is designed for notebooks and also for netbooks.

The new Intel X25-V SSD is capable of performing 25 thousand I/O Operations per second (IOPS) in 4kb, 1.2 million hours MTBF.The new SSD has a read speed of 170MB/s and a write speed of about 35MB/s in write.Intel X25-V SSD can also be used in desktops as a system disk to faster boot OS.

Intel's new X25-V Low Priced SSD has a thickness of just 2.5-inch and is available in  capacities of  40GB.The new Intel X25-V SSD ships with a price tag of about $124.99.

Intel eight-core Nehalem-EX Processor Launching soon Details

The leading chip maker, Intel on its way to release its fastest and highly anticipated eight-core Nehalem-EX server processor by the end of this month.The new Intel eight-core Nehalem-EX processor is targeted at four-socket servers with each core is able to run two threads simultaneously, providing chip 64 virtual processing cores on servers.The company also said that the new Intel eight-core Nehalem-EX is the fastest processor till dated.

The available information also reveals that the new Intel eight-core Nehalem-EX processor includes 24MB of cache, and 2.3 billion transistors.The new processor also includes technologies like  MCA recovery error correction, separately buffered memory chips.The processor will be able to detect system errors originating in the CPU or system memory and correct them by working with the operating system.As the name explains the processor is based on the Nehalem microarchitecture integrated with memory controller that improves system speed by cutting data bottlenecks that plagued Intel's earlier chips.

The processor chip is made using the 45-nm process.The new Intel eight-core Nehalem-EX processor will also be provided with separate buffered memory chips which is capable of storing data temporarily along with main memory providing faster execution.Intel also is planning to introduce next-generation Xeon server processors based on the Westmere microarchitecture by the end of this month.

The exact date and price details are yet to be revealed...

New Single Core 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 Processor Details

 
Intel recently officially introduced their all new Intel Atom processor, named Intel Atom processor N470.The single core Atom processor runs at 1.83GHz, with 512k of L2 cache and DDR2-667 support.This faster Atom processor comes with integrated graphics built directly into the CPU enables improved performance and more energy-efficient design.Its expected that Major OEMs will introduced new systems based on the new Single Core 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 Processor at the up-coming CeBIT 2010 event.
