HP on its way to launch a new notebook in its EliteBook series, named HP EliteBook 2540p.The new HP EliteBook 2540p notebook is rugged portable and will be the lightest laptop among EliteBook series.The HP EliteBook 2540p notebook meets the military-standard tests (MIL-STD 810G) for dust, humidity, shock, altitude, and high/low temperatures.
The all new HP EliteBook 2540p rugged portable Notebook comes equipped with 12.1-inch LED-backlit display and is powered with Intel Core i5/i7 processor.The laptop also features 250GB to 500GB hard drive, 2 megapixel webcam with business card reader software, Gobi broadband 3G modem, and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi.
The HP EliteBook 2540p laptop comes included either with standard 6-cell battery capable of providing 8 hours battery life or 9-cell battery works up to 10.5 hours.The notebook weighs 1.53 kg.The new HP EliteBook 2540p rugged portable Notebook is expected to be available in US market with a price tag that starts at $1,099.
