Lenovo recently made available their all new ultraportable notebook, named Lenovo ThinkPad X201.The new Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook features TrackPoint pointing device, a full-size spill-resistant keyboard, and a trackpad with multi-touch support.The notebook comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional OS.
The all new Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook comes equipped with 12.1-inch LED backlight display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels and anti-glare coating and is powered with Intel Core i5/i7 processors including a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7-620M, 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-540M or 2.40GHz Intel Core i5-520M processor.The ThinkPad X201 Notebook also houses Intel HD integrated graphics.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook supports up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 500GB HDD or up to 128GB SSD.Other features of the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook includes a 2.0 megapixel web camera, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, VGA output and an ExpressCard slot.The notebook has options for WiMAX and 3G connectivity with GPS.
Lenovo ThinkPad X201 offers the user to choose either a 4-cell, 6-cell or 9-cell battery which accordingly provides 3.4 hours, 6.7 hours, and 11.3 hours battery back-up. The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 notebook is available now with a price tag that starts at $1,099.
